ABC 2010 Business Migration Seminar

On 4 March 2010, lawyers from Turner Freeman presented information about business and corporate regulation in Australia at a seminar held at New South Wales Trade and Investment Office on the subject of Chinese investment in Australia.   

 

The seminar was well attended and provided information about the formal requirements of business migration, acquisition of property in Australia and the rules for doing business in Australia.  Christopher Curran and Belinda Tan from the firm's corporate team made the presentation. 

 
   The presentation covered a review of the present economic and political position in Australia for investment, the considerations needed for establishing a business presence in Australia, trading with Australia, the current foreign investment rules and the position with Chinese investment in Australia.
