Venues

If you operate a venue, it may be your prime assert, and your biggest risk. You must have all the necessary licenses, insurance policies and business registrations, and protect your organisation from liability. You may need to negotiate for new premises or amalgamate with other clubs or venues.

You may stand to gain a great deal by making your venue available to other sporting or entertainment organisations. But you must know how to retain control, and how to make best use of your own staff and suppliers to maximise your profits. If you plan to use another venue, you will want to get the best deal possible.

Turner Freeman has advised on all kinds of venues, from small club premises to huge concerts and international sporting events, including the Olympics.
